The brand
Ethereal UK fashion label, Ghost is legendary for their show-stopping classics in soft, flowing fabrics, designed to flatter curvaceous and boyish bodies alike.
Launched in the ‘80s, Ghost quickly got a name for endlessly versatile, elegant silhouettes. Ghost creator, Tanya Sarne developed machine washable viscose that has a coarse, unpolished look when woven, but when shrunk and dyed in beautiful colours, takes on the appearance of vintage crepe. These amazing fabrics were cleverly cut to make beautiful wardrobe essentials, which never creased.
Tanya Sarne left Ghost in 2006 and started up the glorious ‘handwritten’ label. Her legacy of effortless, unstructured chic with a boho vibe lives on at Ghost. New designers have captured the spirit of the brand, moving it on with luxurious, vintage satin and silk dresses, brilliant prints, super soft jersey basics, divine wedding gowns, accessories and more.
