The brand
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana founded their Italian fashion empire back in 1982. They soon conquered the world’s catwalks with the powerful combination of Dolce’s superb tailoring skills and Gabbana’s exciting styling.
Their iconic, signature ready-to-wear looks play on the sexy and the sensual - like the Latin temptress with curvy corseted dresses, tight-fitting leopard print coats and lace shifts. And the Sicilian gangster with sharply cut, pinstripe suits, slick tuxedo jackets and fedoras.
Oh and did we mention the glamorous, Italian diva handbags, shoes and jewellery? Or the sophisticated fragrances, sultry underwear, swimwear, eyewear and jeans?
The original brand is more formal and timeless than it’s younger, more vivacious sibling, D&G. But there’s no doubt about it. Dolce & Gabbana is fashion at its most seductive!
