Karen Millen

Individually designed, hand-crafted and perfected at an in-house atelier, Karen Millen uses couture-inspired techniques and luxurious heritage fabrics to produce its highly covetable collections. Soft suede, beautiful cotton, versatile denim, and leather shoes make up collection after collection of contemporary classics.

In the early 1980s, Karen Millen began manufacturing white t-shirts for herself, which were so popular with her friends that with a loan of just £100, she and co-founder Kevin Stanford produced a line of white t-shirts, and so Karen Millen the brand was formed. The pair achieved success quickly, opening their first store in Maidstone, Kent in 1983 as more and more people found the appeal of their simple and beautiful clothes.

The closet classic white t-shirt remains a core product for Karen Millen, as they released a capsule collection entitled The White Shirt Project in 2017. Made up of seven different white shirts, the collection was the answer to any fashion dilemma. Versatility is key to Karen Millen’s seasonless approach, by not following trends and instead creating hero pieces that are endlessly appealing, you can never go out of style.

Each Karen Millen collection is made with a modern vision and a timeless sensibility, allowing the wearer to go from desk to dinner with ease. Karen Millen pieces vary from bold, statement dresses to silky midi skirts to black leather jackets to tailored trousers. With a collection of shoes and accessories, Karen Millen can complete your wardrobe from top-to-toe.

Karen Millen prides itself on its enduring style and long-lasting designs, putting environmental concerns and craftmanship above all else. In January 2022, Karen Millen collaborated with photographer Nicholas Hughes to create a limited-edition collection focused on sustainability.
