With the Coachella festival in California done and dusted, it’s time to plan your festival-season diary for this side of the Pond. So, to help you choose which ones suits your style best, we’ve picked out a few of our favourites.

LATITUDE FESTIVAL

When: 16th-19th July
Where: Henham Park, Suffolk
Headliners: alt-J, Caribou, Portishead, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, The Vaccines, Jason Manford, Jon Richardson

If you love the festival vibe but want more than music, Latitude festival is a one-size-fits-all kind of festival. Arts, ballet, authors, poets, comedians are just a few fields you’ll find in the field.

SECRET GARDEN PARTY
When: 23rd – 26th July
Where: Abbots Ripton, Huntingdon
Headliners: Jungle, Caravan Palace, Gentleman’s Dub Club, The Cat Empire
Tickets: £190.50
Once small and sweet, this boutique festival is less secret than the name suggests. It is one of the most eclectic festivals, where you can expect anything from the very daftest of outfits to goat-racing. Expect bohemian festival goers and seriously quirky vibes.

CAMP BESTIVAL
When: 30th July – 2nd August
Where: Lulworth Castle, Dorset,
Headliners: Underworld, Kaiser Chiefs, Ella Eyre, Clean Bandit, The Cat in the Hat
Tickets: £195
This family-friendly option has a little something for all ages. After a top line-up of bands, the kids can settle down with story-telling and lullabies before camping out in true festival style!

BRITISH SUMMER TIME
When:  18th, 20th, 21st, 26th and 27th August
Where: Hyde Park, London
Headliners: The Strokes, Blur, Kylie, The Who, Taylor Swift
Tickets: Vary per show
Love festivals, hate camping? These one-day events are just right for you. Artists are grouped each day by genre so you can take your pick of favourite acts whether it’s an old favourite or the biggest newcomer.

V FESTIVAL
When:  22nd – 23rd August
Where: Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, South Staffordshire
Headliners: Kasabian, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Stereophonics, Hozier
Tickets: Weekend: £189 (with camping), Day: £89
This one is handy for London and is one of the most popular festivals. It is all about the music and over two days it packs in some of the biggest pop acts of the moment.

V festival

BESTIVAL
When:  10th – 13th September
Where: Robin Hill Country Park, Isle of Wight
Headliners: The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Duran Duran, Jamie XX
Tickets: £195
Similar to Secret Garden Party, every year has a different theme, with revellers encouraged to don fancy dress for the duration. As well as music, you can expect circus troupes, comedy acts and yoga workshops.
