Reconsider what nightwear and sleepwear you wear before hitting the pillow. Try not to wear anything tight or restrictive as this can limit your movements in the night, and can cut off your circulation whilst you’re sleeping. Where possible, avoid wearing sleepwear that has tags, zippers or buttons as they can cause irritation during the night whilst you sleep. Why not opt for some luxurious silk pyjamas instead. Silk provides a breathable yet insulating protection between you and the surrounding temperature, allowing for the ultimate super sleep.

A soothing bath is effective in reducing any body or muscular tension that you may have, which in turn, increases your chances of a calm mind and body, just before sleep. Why not try adding some comforting essential oils into your bath. Not only do they work wonderfully in getting you ready for bed, but they also create a super calming energy around bath time.

So, with meditation, you can easily increase your natural melatonin levels to ensure you get the rest and sleep that you deserve and need.

The quality and style of your bedding and bed linen is crucial as it greatly affects your sleep. Invest in high quality, cotton sheets as they’re more breathable and comfortable. They also work to self-regulate your temperature which naturally leads to a more restful sleep. Linen bedding is another great alternative too. It’s woven from natural fibres that breathe extremely well, allowing you to stay asleep all night long, at the perfect body temperature.
