Our Favourite Winter Boot Trends

@katharinaanjs

We’ve seen a whole bunch of fashion trends emerge (and re-emerge) this year. Low rise jeans, cropped tank tops and cargo pants became wardrobe staples as we teleported back to the era of Paris Hilton, Christina Aguilera and Destiny’s Child. And for the minimalist girlies, we saw an influx of linen waistcoats, pleated minis and nude crescent handbags, following in the footsteps of street-style guru, Mrs Bieber.

With winter on its way, we’re seeing new trends appear on both the catwalk and the feeds of your favourite Influencers. Lashings of leather and copious cosy fabrics are taking over our online shopping baskets as we look to the colder season ahead. And while we can’t list all of them in this blog, we can give you an insight into the winter boot trends to look out for. From 70s-inspired Western boots to iconic thigh-highs, there’s a style for every outfit & occasion.

The Thigh’s the Limit

Baggy or skin-tight, it doesn’t matter – the over-the-knee boot will make any outfit a masterpiece. A 2023 runway favourite, the thigh-high silhouette has been strutting its stuff for Isabel Marant, Bottega Veneta & Loewe – we’ve found some more affordable options below.

Meee-ow!

The kitten heel‘s probably one of fashion’s most controversial trends. You either love it or hate it – but, if done right, this style will look undeniably chic. If, like us, you’re huge campaigners for the kitten heel, check out these styles from LK Bennett.

Howdy, Partner

Walking you from winter to festival season, the western boot has been seen on the runways of Ralph Lauren, Molly Goddard & Philipp Plein. We believe the best thing about western boots is that, aside from denim, they don’t really “go” with anything – but somehow look absolutely fabulous with just about everything. We don’t make the rules!

Fair and Square

We’re re-visiting the 90s for this one. Step on into the square toe trend. You’ve more than likely seen square toes on mules and heeled sandals (and we can’t forget the Bottega Veneta mesh moment), but we’ve kept things a little more understated with the picks below.
