This Sleeptember, we’ve been diving deep into the world of sleep, discussing the importance of rest, how to turn your bedroom into a sanctuary, and which BrandAlley products can help encourage a blissful slumber.

This Friday, to kick-off a (hopefully) relaxing weekend, we thought we’d ask our Marketing Team their tips on getting a good night’s sleep.

Tiffany Espina, Social Media Executive
“The one thing that I always must do is cool the room down either by opening the windows or using a little fan for a nice breeze. When my mind is racing, I’ll listen to a podcast, usually a topic that I won’t get too invested in, so I can still fall asleep! Lastly, I like to be in bed with dimmed lights for at least an hour before I’m meant to go to sleep, just chilling and unwinding.”

Michelle Hurney, CRM Acquisition Manager
“Get a silk eye mask – it’s a game changer! Especially if I need to sleep on a train journey or flight. When I need my beauty sleep, I use a silk pillowcase, then cover my face, neck & chest in a decent retinol. Try it, you’ll wake up with the face of a baby angel in the morning!”

Margaux Fleury, Social Media Executive
“CBD oil is my go-to before bed, or even when I just need to relax! Like Tiffany, I’ll listen to podcasts that my partner chooses for me (mainly so I know I will NOT be interested!) and I tend to fall asleep quite easily.”

Hannah Wright, Copywriter & Content Executive
“I love to fall asleep watching my favourite TV show, Friends. I find it gets me in a comfortable frame of mind and ready for relaxation. I have a very low lamp on, get in my cosiest PJs and snuggle under the covers. Bliss!”

Zara Alderton, Marketing Assistant
“If I want a good night’s sleep, I’ll have a hot shower, make a peppermint tea, get in my cosiest PJs, and read a good book!”

Libby Jeffery, Affiliates & Partnerships Executive
“My bedtime routine is never complete without running a luxurious bath. Having a soak in a nice hot bath before you go to sleep is the perfect way to relax and unwind after a long, stressful day. I always add my favourite salts and bath oils, light some candles and pop on a relaxing playlist, allowing me to wind down without any distractions and jump straight into bed for the perfect night’s sleep.”

Alexandra Vancea, Head of Marketing
“Brown noise really helps me drift off to sleep after a busy day. I have a Philips Hue smart lamp, which can be altered to create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I also change my bedding every two days – nothing beats fresh sheets!”

Patience Ssebuwufu, Assistant Copywriter
“After a long day, the first thing on my mind is to relax and unwind. I’ll have a lusciously long bath, light a candle and put on a fresh pair of pyjamas – and a silk bonnet for my curls, of course!”
