Blumenfeld Studio: New York, 1941-1960 celebrates the work of Erwin Blumenfeld, one of the most internationally sought-after portrait and fashion photographers in the 1940s and 1950s. He was celebrated for his imaginative and highly individual shots, which turned fashion into art and his work appeared in America’s leading magazines, including Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. This show focuses on the important period he spent in his New York photography studio and applauds his incredible contribution to fashion photography.
