Dress Code: Luxury for Less

Calling all fashionistas! London Fashion Week is swiftly approaching. The Spring/Summer 2024 shows kick off from Friday 15th September to Tuesday 18th September 2023.

The first thing on our mind – what will we wear?! The London fashion scene can get incredibly theatrical with back-to-back outfit changes, exclusive pieces borrowed from designers for an hour and endless outfit options in the back of chauffeured cars.

As fabulous as these moments can be, we figured our invite got lost in the post – so we gathered some styling inspiration for you from our marketers and buyers to share the lowdown on what they would wear to London Fashion Week.

A note for LFW: It’s not too late to send us an invite x

Signija Ludborza, Buyer

“For LFW, I’m going bright and bold with unorthodox colour pairings that celebrate a sense of freedom and self-expression. Featuring dynamic shades like ‘Sparkling Grape’ – one of this season’s Pantone colours for LFW.

Reiss Orange Emmy Double Breasted Blazer – £109

To finish off the look, I’ve selected minimalistic gold jewellery, statement Gucci sunglasses and a black Aspinal of London bag. “

Diamond & Co Gold “You Are The One I Love” Ring – £349

Hannah Wright, Content Executive

“My look is a little more glam – but if you can’t go glam at LFW, when can you?!

I’ve incorporated a pop of pink with the Bella Blanco bag (my favourite colour) and chosen chunky gold earrings to match the hardware.”

Michael Kors Black Square Neck Feather Dress – £179
Michael Kors Black Parker Leather Heeled Sandals – £85

Liv Oliver 18K Gold Chain Link Earrings – £39
Bella Blanco Pink Leather Bag – £65

Michelle Hurney, Head of Marketing

“I’m obsessed with the Victoria Beckham silk maxi dress, effortless and comfortable but visually impactful!

Victoria Beckham White Sleeveless Silk Maxi Dress – £489

I’ll throw on a big pair of stompy boots with a similar colour tone – so they don’t fight with the dress. Lots of gold jewellery and huge sunglasses (always). The bag is fun and gives a nice colour-pop – with just enough room for my iPhone, lip gloss and all my front row invites xxxx

Longchamp Burnt Red La Voyageuse Large Top Handle Bag – £329
Michael Kors Cream Ridley Strap Chelsea Boots – £115

Celine Women’s Black Celine Sunglasses 64mm – £129
Vintage Chanel Vintage Tricolour Coco Mark Necklace – £895

If it was cold I’d throw this oversized shearling biker jacket over my shoulders.

Bish Bash Bosh”

“I am all for the smart/casual vibe and absolutely anything oversized. I usually shop vintage and then layer up with modern pieces to create a mixture of eras – so this look is my twist on a 90s to contemporary fashion!”
