Women have a romantic fascination with Paris; the canvas to many on-screen kisses, Parisian designers and the style icons they respectively produced, the lifestyle… it is safe to say that whether or not we have a beaux of our own, we can all admit to a love affair with Paris. When it comes to achieving that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ nothing screams “Parisian chic” more than a luxurious set of French lingerie.

Chantal Thomass is a famed lingerie designer from Paris whose elegantly seductive negligee designs make you feel like a queen, and are certain to set the pulses racing of anyone lucky enough to see you wearing them. From bra and knicker sets, to corsets and robes there is something to tickle everyone’s fancy, but I’m personally partial to a little chic lounging so beautiful sets like this Imperial Blue Chemise and Shortie are just perfect for those cosy nights in.

       

 Silk mix fabric is so luxuriously smooth as it slides over you and the softness of this set will sooth even the most sensitive of skin types. Blue is a far more flattering colour than black on most skin tones and this imperial (almost navy) blue has a real richness to it that I simply adore. Both the short and chemise are edged with a beautifully delicate black lace and the chemise features a cute little button at the bottom of each adjustable strap so there are lots of little pleasures for those with an eye for detail.
