As a mum, I’m sure comfort must be equally as important as style – how do you manage that?

For me you can’t beat a classic shirt and good pair of jeans. I love to invest in a luxury pair so I know they will stand the test of time.

Do you have a favourite meal for when you’re hosting your family & friends for big occasions like Easter?

Yes, I love to cook a pie, it’s the perfect hearty meal that pleases everyone. It’s a one pan recipe which I swear by and slightly change the ingredients depending on the season. Then I pop it into a pie dish and bake in the oven to finish.

For me having the KitchenAid has been a game changer, I can make everything from the pie pastry to pudding. It looks beautiful in the kitchen too.

When hosting people, it’s hard to find the time to get yourself ready! If you only have 15 minutes, what is your priority?

Fresh natural makeup and smelling good! Especially if I’ve been in the kitchen cooking all day.
In the winter I love to add a tanning mist to my routine to keep an all-year glow, then top up on bronzer. My handbag essential is a face mist. I absolutely swear by them.

With the weather starting to warm up, what are you most excited to wear?

White dresses!! They’re my absolute favourite paired with a hat! I love this one from No.Eleven.

Is there any prep you do to your home & garden before having guests over?

I love to cut spring bulbs and flowers from the garden to bring the outdoors in. I absolutely love the way the garden springs to life after winter.

Do you like to have the table laid, food prepared and everything finished before guests come over, or are you greeting people with one hand and stirring the pot with the other?

I love to have everything ready so we can catch up when our guests arrive. I love a relaxed dining experience with everyone tucking in and helping themselves.

How do you achieve such a gorgeous tablescape?

For me a tablecloth paired with a runner and simple styling goes a long way. A classic set of crockery is essential to making your food come to life, I absolutely adore the scallop detailing on the Sophie Conran range.

One final question, what is your number one top tip for hosting this season?
