Christmas Markets around Europe

Gothenburg Christmas market

It’s that most wonderful time of the year again. The cold weather means you’re allowed to drink mulled wine at 4 in the afternoon and it’s also acceptable to eat mass amounts of food and not feel too bad about yourself. Christmas meals and parties abound, but what would the festive period be without visiting a few Christmas Markets?

With snacks, beer and trinkets to get, why wouldn’t you visit a few Christmas markets this month? (Unless you really hate crowds, in which case we totally understand your pain…)

Greenwich Christmas Market

Visit Greenwich market this year and you can even visit Santa Claus as well! (Though it may look a little weird for grown adult to be sitting on Santa’s lap.) There are also Greenwich printmakers to check out too! See here for more

Southbank Christmas Market

Perfect for you if you’re a cider drinker this Christmas. With their Rekorderlig Cider Lodge, it’ll keep you merry until the early hours of the morning. As well as this they have a bump roller disco and a nofit state circus act. Yeah, it all sounds pretty good to us. See more here
