The Power Apex Summerhouse can be configured how you want by allowing you to place the doors and windows in any position on any side, which you can do as you assemble it. Toughened glass and full pane joiner made doors included as standard.

10 Year Guarantee- Every Power Apex Summerhouse is made to stand the test of time. Any summer house purchased on the PowerSheds.com website or through an approved Power retailer comes with their free 10 year guarantee, against timber rot, decay or insect infestation.

Scandinavian Timber– Power source only the finest high grade timber available, suitable for a garden summerhouse. The timber is specially and responsibly imported from forests in Scandinavia in line with their sustainability policy. Power select slow-grown timber which means the timber is stronger and resistant to warping.

Tongue and Groove throughout– All Power Summerhouses are made from 12mm thick shiplap tongue and groove timber. Even the floor and roof are 12mm tongue and groove to give extra strength and durability. Shiplap cladding has the additional feature of a small profile at the top of each board. This little channel, allows water to run off the shed quicker than normal tongue and groove. This also helps the shed dry quickly after exposure to rain, helping to protect it from any water damage.

Heavy Duty Framing - The summerhouse framing is 44x28mm and rounded at each corner to give a stunning finish. The panels are screwed together and so when joined it creates double strength 44x56mm thick framing.

Additional Height– Your summerhouse is that extra bit taller to give you ample headroom inside.

Toughened Glass – Power Summerhouses come with toughened safety glass as standard. The toughening process improves the structural durability and thermal strength of the glass, in turn increasing its resilience and ability to withstand heat. Toughened glass is 500% more resistant to heat and shock than ordinary glass. The glass is already internally beaded so you don't have to fit the glass yourself and PVC sills complete the window units to prevent water ingress and provide a stunning finish.

Galvanised ironmongery – A Power Summerhouse comes with galvanised hinges, turn buttons and door pull so the shed lasts longer and minimises oxidisation. Galvanising is coating with a protective layer of zinc in order to protect it from rust and other damage.

Corner bracing – Internal corner bracing has been added to every wall panel on your summerhouse to maximise strength and rigidity.

Premium 'Super' felt – The summerhouse is complete with a high performing waterproof felt with special 'polyester' backing ensuring it lasts longer and doesn't ripple or tear easily. The felt is saturated with a protective coating called bitumen (asphalt), which repels water but still allows the product to breathe.

Advanced Preserver – Power's special formula wood preserver has a wax additive allowing you to go a WHOLE YEAR without the need to re-treat your summerhouse. However, it is water based and has just the right amount of wax so that if you want to paint the summerhouse a different colour, you can. At Power they dip treat shed panels into a tank of preservative fully submerging the panel into the treatment. All surfaces are thoroughly immersed before being removed and dried.

Roof Truss Support- A roof truss will stop shed roofs sagging even after years of use. Your apex summerhouse will come with a roof truss every 4ft. A truss is a structural framework of timber designed to provide support for a roof.

3. Mortise and tenon door - Premium joiner made door is made with mortise and tenon joints.

4. Galvanised Ironmongery - The well braced door includes a lock and key as standard and the ironmongery is galvanised.

How does the shed come?

Your shed is delivered on a pallet and unloaded off the delivery vehicle via a tail lift and pallet truck. Therefore the delivery driver will be unable to take it much further than the pavement / driveway, depending on access. Where the delivery is made is down to the delivery driver’s discretion.

All deliveries must be signed for unless agreed. If we are unable to deliver but arrived on the day you selected and there is nobody in, or the delivery vehicle is unable to access. Then we would have to take the package away and there may be re-delivery charges. For this reason please listen out for the door bell.

What should my Power shed go on?

All garden summerhouses must be assembled on a firm and level base to give the shed a solid foundation and maximise the longevity of the building. Without a firm and level base, you may find that the summerhouse can drop out of square causing issues with the doors not closing properly or the roof twisting potentially leading to water ingress. This is not included with a Power Summerhouse but is available as an optional extra.

This item will be delivered directly from our supplier. Please ensure you provide a mobile phone number with your order as the carrier will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery time. Please note, non-faulty returns will not incur a collection fee from the supplier however any products that have been modified (i.e. painted or cut to bespoke requirements etc) will not be accepted, and a full refund will be void. A full refund will only be provided if the goods are returned in perfect re-saleable condition and the shed has not been taken off the pallet. If the summerhouse has been removed from the pallet then collections charges may apply. All damages and discrepancies must be reported to us within 7 days of delivery.
