    Joiner made Doors and Windows

A Power Apex Log Cabin comes complete with joiner- made Double Doors and Windows. All glass is both toughened and double-glazed - perfect for extra security and insulation.

    Innovative Self-Assembly

Power's 28mm, high grade interlocking logs are enhanced by the innovative notching system which allows you to build your cabin with confidence, knowing it has the perfect fit. Fixings and instructions are included to allow you to build the cabin yourself, as well as providing additional telephone/email support and instructional installation videos if required.

    Under 2.5m Tall

All log cabins are under 2.5m to the ridge, allowing you to bypass most planning permission restrictions that may apply to residential builds. There are extra deep 145mm roof purlins to ensure the strength and rigidity aren't compromised by the reduced height. For all information regarding planning, consult your local planning office.

    EPDM Roof Covering

The roof material of this log cabin is designed to protect the building from all kinds of weather. It has an innovative EPDM rubber roofing system which comes with a 50-year life expectancy. This includes a gutter edge drip plate to allow rainwater to run off and away from the sides of the log cabin... ideal for the various UK weather conditions and climate.

    High Security Throughout

Not only is there toughened double glazing, but there is a 3 lever mortice lock on all doors and a lockable stay on windows. Whether you plan to use the log cabin for storage, or for a home office, this secure space will provide that additional peace of mind.

    Contemporary Touches

Attractive features such as external sills on all windows, add to the functionality of your building, as well as the aesthetic. Further attention to detail is reflected in the Burford-style skirting which provides an amazing finish to the inside of the log cabin.

    Scandinavian Timber

The walls of the log cabin are 28mm thick made from high grade, responsibly sourced, Scandinavian Timber. No inferior log cabin timber profiles are used whatsoever such as poor quality 19mm and 22mm thick log cabins, or cabins built with OSB or chipboard floors and roofs. The floor and roofs are comprised of tongue & groove boards to ensure the log cabin is robust and durable. Tanalised timber bearers are provided to lift the log cabin off the ground to further protect the floor.

    Sustainable - We give back

A log cabin that is better for the planet! Timber is responsibly sourced from suppliers and forests carefully selected using a thorough and comprehensive appraisal process. Only timber suppliers are used who are themselves chain of custody certified, which traces the wood from forest to distribution to Power, are checked regularly. Not only do Power feel they have a responsibility to look after the planet, but they also support their local community through numerous charity and community initiatives.

What should my Power log cabin go on?

All log cabins must be assembled on a firm and level base to give the cabin a solid foundation and maximise the longevity of the building. Without a firm and level base, you may find that the cabin can drop out of square causing issues with the doors not closing properly or the roof twisting potentially leading to water ingress. The log cabin comes with a floor with pressure treated floor joists but does not come with a firm and level base.

    The Finishing Touches

Power garden buildings are used for storage, gyms, offices, bars and much more…

Each of our log cabins are fitted with external sills on all windows, 'easy access' aluminium low threshold sills on the doors and Burford style skirting providing a sleek and attractive finish to the inside of the log cabin.

Once you have ordered your Log Cabin

As with any large delivery, we’re aware that some customers may be concerned about access and whether or not they’ll be able to go ahead with their order. We aim to provide as much information as we can prior to delivery to ensure things go smoothly on the day.

Our premium log cabins are delivered on an 26t HIAB (approx 10.7m long and 2.6m wide) vehicle by a third party courier, using a crane which is positioned on the vehicle, behind the cab. If there are any access restrictions for a vehicle of this size, please inform us as soon as possible as we may be unable to deliver.

The reach of the crane can vary depending on the incline of the surrounding area and any obstacles that might be present. For this reason, we offer a kerbside delivery service, and no guarantee can be made beyond this.

The driver will unload the cabin pack using the crane and leave it as close to your desired location as possible. This is usually a driveway; however, we do sometimes get requests for deliveries to be made over fences, gates etc. Wherever possible the driver will do this for you, however if there isn’t sufficient reach with the crane, it will be delivered somewhere more accessible. Where the driver will leave the pack is ultimately at their discretion.

We do request that someone is present at the point of delivery. There will be one driver and having someone with knowledge of the property to advise them where to leave the pack can be very helpful. Once the driver has delivered the cabin pack, they will not be able to assist with unpacking or moving the components.

'The courier will contact you 1-2 weeks prior to delivery to book in a delivery date, in line with our approximate lead times. If there are any availability issues, please notify us at the point of sale so this information can be passed along for planning purposes. We may provide an approximate time slot for your order, though as with any delivery delays can sometimes occur on the road. We therefore ask the driver to give you a call when they are on their way to provide an update if it is safe for them to do so.

If the driver cannot access the property due to undisclosed access issues or because no-one is at the property, re-delivery charges may be passed along to the customer.

If the delivery is delayed due to circumstances outside of our control, we cannot be held liable for consequential losses. We do not advise booking installation/workmen until you have received your order and checked all components.
