1. How we've made your bed

Our Orion bed base is made by experienced craftsmen and women, using the highest quality materials, traditional techniques and patented technology to ensure durability, style and ergonomic comfort.

2. Simba Flex®

We’ve designed a unique slat system, with responsive suspension which cushions your weight and relieves pressure.

It’s all thanks to the ingenious slat fittings we use; they are suspended above the side rail; this allows them to flex gently as you move, adjusting automatically to your weight, shape and sleeping position for extra comfort.

The system has been designed to reflect the specific needs of the shoulders and hips: the fittings are softer in the shoulder area, and a firmer in the lumbar region. In addition, triple-cushioned, hyper-reactive narrower slats relieve pressure around the shoulder area where most night movement occurs, and firmer, extra-wide slats sit around the lumbar area which needs more support.

3. Easy-peezy build

All you need to build your new Orion bed base is ten minutes. Because thanks to Simba’s Easy-fit assembly system, there are no fiddly tools, bolts or screws to deal with, it's just click, slide, twist… And you're ready to rock and roll.

Bed Base Materials:

• Fabric: 50% Lenzing Ecovero viscose, 25 % Linen, 15 % Cotton, 10 % recycled polyester
• Legs: made from FSC solid beech wood
• Lining fabric: Needlefelt lining - 100% polypropylene.

Slats

• There are 50 slats in total per King/Super King bed (25 slats in each frame), 46 slats per Double bed (23 in each frame); they're divided into five zones, providing appropriate support to the shoulders and lumbar areas, and matching the natural curvature of the spine.
• 4 birch plywood slats (per frame) with sprung loaded fittings provide softer support around the shoulders; twin fixed slat shoes provide for maximum flexibility and support. Light grey wrap finish.
• 3 sprung extra-wide birch plywood slats (per frame) provide firmer support in the lumbar zone. twin fixed slat shoes provide for maximum flexibility and support. Light grey wrap finish.
• 1 sprung birch plywood slat with etched Simba logo
• Remaining slats are birch plywood and sprung loaded, with a dark grey wrap finish.

Care

• Use a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to remove surface dust on a weekly basis. To avoid material distortion or fading, keep your upholstered furniture away from direct sunlight. Any spills must be blotted with a soft, dry cloth or paper towel as soon as they occur. Do not rub stains or spills and work them from the outside edge inwards to avoid stains spreading. If in doubt, seek professional assistance.

This item will be delivered directly from our supplier . Please ensure you provide a mobile phone number with your order, as you will receive a message, email or call from the courier with delivery information and times. All damages and discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Goods should be returned in their original packaging where possible. Please do not dispose of your old bed or mattress until the new one arrives and you are happy with it. UK Mainland delivery only.

All bed frames supplied by the Supplier will benefit from a 200 Night Sleep Trial in terms not materially different than those set out in the Supplier’s e-commerce website Terms and Conditions (which may be reviewed at https://simbasleep.com/pages/terms) at Clause 8A of those Terms and Conditions, save that the extended right of cancellation shall be for 200 days.

Simba guarantees to replace any bed frame, as may be determined by Simba’s independent inspection agent, to be exhibiting a manufacturing defect in respect of the frame within 10 years of the delivery date, or any bed frame exhibiting a manufacturing defect in respect of the fabric cover of the bed frame within 2 years of the delivery date, subject to the full terms set out at Clause 12 https://simbasleep.com/pages/terms
