BEYOND FOUNDATION: HOW TO FIND YOUR PERFECT SHADE
Find Your Perfect Match with our Simple 3 Step Shading System. It's important while choosing your shade, you look at your face, neck and décolletage. This will help you have shade consistency.
Step 1: Identify your colour category: Light (L), Medium (M) or Dark (D). These can often be identified as to how your skin reacts when in the sun: light skins tend to burn very easily in the sun, medium skins will tan in the sun, and dark skins tan easily and rarely burn.
Step 2: Identify your undertone: Golden (G), Rose (R) OR Neutral (N). Undertones are the tones you have in your skin. For Illamasqua, golden is cool, olive, essentially skin that has a little more yellow tone than pink. Rose is rosey, warm blush tones, essentially skin that has more pink or red within it. Neutral is the perfect mix of both Rose and Golden tones, creating a beige, peachy skin tone.
Step 3: Choose your depth from 1-4. The depth of the foundation is based on how dark or light you want or need your foundation to be, from 1 being lightest and 4 being darkest. Each foundation shade name will have a colour, undertone and depth, ie. MG1, LR2, DN3, etc.

Ensure you are primed to perfection by using Hydra Veil Primer, this will ensure your skin looks stays in place all day and will smooth away any pores or fine lines for a youthful, perfected glow. I like to apply a 10 pence size of product around the T-Zone after moisturiser.
