Acacia is a great choice for outdoor furniture as it is highly durable and has a high resistance to moisture which allows it to withstand rain, humidity and other weather conditions. The natural oils and tight grain of this wood also offers high resistance to scratches and dents as well as insect damage.
Acacia is a natural product and therefore to prolong the longevity we recommend to re-stain wooden parts of your furniture annually.
Although the furniture is pre-treated to make the surface durable for outdoor use. When you find water no longer forms little droplets on the wooden surface but is absorbed directly, you should consider re-staining the surface to prolong the life of the product.
Ensure you are carrying out the re-staining in a well-ventilated area and always wear a protective mask to avoid inhaling dust or fumes.
