The risotto spoon can be used for a variety of other dishes, too. It works wonderfully with polenta, rich sauces and of course other rice dishes like paella and one-pot curries. Being part of the new STAUB utensils range, the risotto spoon is made of high-quality material for best results. The black matte silicone is heat resistant up to 220°C and does not leave scratches on enamelled cast iron or non-stick coated pans. The ergonomic handle was made from acacia wood, giving it a nice feel, and has a hole for hanging storage.
