Founded in 1957 in a small Toronto warehouse, Canada Goose has grown into a global leader in performance luxury apparel.

The brand’s story began with Sam Tick, who immigrated to Canada with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. He founded Metro Sportswear Ltd., specialising in wool vests, raincoats and snowmobile suits. When David Reiss, Sam’s son-in-law, joined the company, he revolutionised it by inventing a volume-based down-filling machine and launching the Snow Goose label, which later became Canada Goose.

Since then, Canada Goose has continued to innovate, introducing lightweight, versatile pieces designed for a range of climates and high-intensity activities, like the HyBridge® Lite jacket and Lawrence gilet.
