Cast iron Skillets have long been treasured kitchen staples for stovetop frying and oven baking. They are perfect for searing meat, poultry and fish, creating a browned caramelised surface and sealing in moisture.
Extremely versatile and can be used for an array of cooking tasks including making fish cakes, frittatas or baking a dessert.
Le Creuset's Signature Skillet features a convenient helper handle for easier lifting and added control when moving between hob, oven and table. There are spouts on two sides allowing for drip-free pouring.
The Skillet is coated with Le Creuset’s specialist satin black enamel finish. Durable and easy to clean, the satin black enamel interior has been especially designed to protect the pan (no seasoning is required) and for high surface heat use. Over time, it develops a natural patina that is ideal for searing, browning and frying.
Suitable for use on all hob types, including induction, in the oven to 260°C and under the grill, requiring only low to medium heat settings to cook with. Individually cast in sand moulds and hand crafted at the original French foundry since 1925. Covered by a Limited Lifetime Guarantee.

Care & Use:
• Remove all packaging and labels. Wash the pan in hot, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Medium or low heat will provide the best results for cooking, including frying and searing. Le Creuset Silicone tools or wooden/heat resistant plastic tools are recommended.
• For best results, use appropriately sized ring for even cooking and to reduce risk of damage to product.
• Never drag your product across a glass surface. Always lift to move to prevent damage.
• When grilling, take a few drops of water on your fingers and scatter over the hot surface. If they sizzle and evaporate almost immediately it is hot and ready for use.
• Oven and grill safe up to 260°C. Allow a minimum distance of 6.5cm when grilling.
• Always use oven gloves when handling hot products.
• Allow product to cool before cleaning. If washed too quickly thermal shock may occur, resulting in cracking or loss of enamel.
• Handwash recommended. Freezer compatible and dishwasher safe if no wooden handle.
