The bottom of the wok allows both liquid and heat to concentrate in one spot, while the high, sloping walls help retain heat for an optimal fast cooking. Add to this the phenolic handle with silicone insert and the clear glass lid that comes with an integrated straining and spoon rest function, and you’ve got a wok that excels in user-friendliness.
