Founded in the swinging 60’s, the concept is based on the straw sole of Japanese zōri sandals that Havaianas reimagined to be more comfortable and water resilient.

For the 1998 Olympics, Havaianas decided to show support to their countries team by adding the iconic Brazilian flag to the shoe, where it still proudly remains today.
