Staub Sorbet Rose Cast Iron Cocotte, 28cm
August Escoffier, the famous French chef and culinary writer, described the function of sorbet courses as “freshening the stomach; preparing it to properly receive the roast.” And while you could of course make a party-sized portion of sorbet in this large Cocotte, it is also very well suited to prepare the roast.
With a diameter of 28 cm, this 6.7 l Cocotte is ideal for large pieces of meat and poultry. The micro-grill structure of the black matte enamel creates wonderful roasting aromas, and the lid with its Aroma Rain design collects all evaporating moisture and drops it evenly over the food. This makes meat and vegetables tender, preserves flavor and nutrients and forms a rich sauce.
On the outside, the elegant pink of the “Sorbet Rose” enamel coating adds a light touch and makes the Cocotte a real eyecatcher on your table.
