Belstaff

Belstaff

Global, luxurious and unique, Belstaff is a British heritage brand imbued with the spirit of adventure. In this premium brand, explorers and style mavens alike will find trusted outerwear they’ll love forever.

Born in Staffordshire, England in 1924, this outerwear label invented the first water-resistant wax cotton, opening up a new area of functional fashion that many embraced immediately. Since then, its products have been loved by Amelia Earhart, Che Guevara and David Beckham.

The classic belted 4-pocket jacket in particular, is instantly recognisable as an item that defined the 20th Century Racing Set. In addition, the Belstaff leather jacket has become a symbol of British cool.

Rooted in motorcycle racing, brand ambassador Joseph ‘Joe’ Wright broke the two-wheeled world speed record in 1930, simultaneously helping to cement the rugged, adventurous reputation of the label he represented.

In 1951 Sammy Miller took on the Scottish Six Days Trial, an internationally-recognised motorcycle event; he goes on to wear the brand in more than 1000 races.

In more modern times, Belstaff has secured the likes of Kate Moss, Will Smith, Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts as fans. As well as a technical powerhouse, this heritage brand has come to represent a special kind of cool approved by GQ, David Beckham and more authorities on style.
