  use the Spring/Autumn duvet (grey binding, 7 Tog)
• Warmer nights:
  use the Summer duvet (blue binding, 3.5 Tog)
• Extra chilly nights:
  snap the two duvets together for a thermal value of 10.5 Tog.

The gentle genius of Simba Renew

This is Simba's greener (and very fluffy) alternative to feather and down; it’s made from recycled PET bottle fibres, so it’s less allergenic and more sustainable too. The fibres are combed and folded into airy, downy clusters, forming a super-soft material that provides both warmth and breathability.

The Simba Renew fibres in our 3-in-1 Duvet are also blended with 20% Modal; Modal is derived from natural wood pulp and helps to wick moisture away from the body.

The magic of Modal

A technologically advanced material with natural temperature regulating properties; it’s also plant-derived so it’s totally biodegradable and 100% sustainable. It’s made from beech wood pulp, sourced from sustainably managed forests in Europe and manufactured under environmentally responsible conditions.

The 3-in-1 Duvet filler features a blend of Modal with Simba Renew where it adds long-lasting softness and shape, even after repeated washing. We also combined ultra-smooth Modal fibres with cotton on one side of the cover, where it supports the body’s natural cooling process by carrying away moisture to keep you feeling cool and dry.

A sustainable sleep

For Simba, protecting the planet is as important as restful sleep. Simba are proud to be the first UK-born sleep brand to be awarded certified B Corp™ status.

Simba Renew is made entirely from recycled PET plastic bottles and according to the Global Recycle Standard (GRS), and Modal is a naturally renewable raw material being made from sustainably produced wood pulp; the Modal in our cotton blend cover is also produced by chlorine-free bleaching and an integrated pulp-to-fibre process incurring both low waste levels and emissions.

Simba are part of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), a not-for-profit organisation which makes global cotton production better for the people who produce it and the environment it grows in. Better Cotton is not physically traceable to end products, but BCI farmers benefit from the demand for Better Cotton in equivalent volumes to those Simba source.
