This handsome bed offers a tidy tranquillity with its capacious, easy-access storage; a king size bed features a huge 855 litres of capacity - which is the equivalent of around five full baths, and about 50% bigger than a standard estate car boot. The storage space itself has a proper, solid base to keep your belongings off the floor, plus ventilation holes to keep everything aired; a sturdy gas-lift mechanism? allows you to raise the mattress base safely to access the space underneath.

2. How we make your bed

Our Ottoman Storage bed base is made by experienced craftsmen and women, using the highest quality materials to ensure durability and comfort. All wood used is sustainably produced and the lifting mechanism has been rigorously tested to ensure it’s sufficiently robust to cope with lifting heavier mattresses, while safely staying in place during use.

And we’ve made sure it’s a breeze to build; the sprung slats are already connected for you and just fold out like a butterfly.

The focus now is our target of Net Zero by 2030, so using recycled or sustainable materials is an absolute necessity.?That’s why all the wood we use in our Ottoman Storage bed frame comes from FSC certified forests, and why we use upholstery fabric that’s made from recycled PET bottles, sourced from the ocean (in fact every double size Ottoman Storage bed removes the equivalent of 113 of them).

Care

• Use a vacuum cleaner or soft brush to remove surface dust on a weekly basis. To avoid material distortion or fading, keep your upholstered furniture away from direct sunlight. Any spills must be blotted with a soft, dry cloth or paper towel as soon as they occur. Do not rub stains or spills and work them from the outside edge inwards to avoid stains spreading. If in doubt, seek professional assistance.

This item will be delivered directly from our supplier via AO, ArrowXL or DPD depending on the product and destination. Please ensure you provide a mobile phone number with your order, as you will receive a message, email or call from the courier with delivery information and times. All damages and discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Goods should be returned in their original packaging where possible. Please do not dispose of your old bed or mattress until the new one arrives and you are happy with it. UK Mainland delivery only.

All bed frames supplied by the Supplier will benefit from a 200 Night Sleep Trial in terms not materially different than those set out in the Supplier’s e-commerce website Terms and Conditions (which may be reviewed at https://simbasleep.com/pages/terms) at Clause 8A of those Terms and Conditions, save that the extended right of cancellation shall be for 200 days.

Simba guarantees to replace any bed frame, as may be determined by Simba’s independent inspection agent, to be exhibiting a manufacturing defect in respect of the frame within 10 years of the delivery date, or any bed frame exhibiting a manufacturing defect in respect of the fabric cover of the bed frame within 2 years of the delivery date, subject to the full terms set out at Clause 12 https://simbasleep.com/pages/terms
